Alpha Omega Epsilon is a unique organization that allows you to get to know women from all different years and majors on your campus. Our sorority also allows you to meet new people in a fun environment. The friendships formed while an undergraduate active member will be continued after graduation. Often the women that you meet in AΩE today will be the ones who stand up in your wedding, provide guidance when you are struggling, and share in your happiness for many years. Since all of our sisters have common interests, passions, and course loads, there is never a shortage of common ground to bond over, and through our social events and other bonding activities, our sisters become closer than ever. Our annual convention enables our sisters to see new places and meet other women from other chapters from the United States and Canada.
Develop Professional and Personal Skills
Alpha Omega Epsilon is a professional sorority; we are dedicated to helping women become successful professional engineers and technical scientists. Our members are women who work together to achieve goals they have set for themselves. All of our chapters have leadership positions, financial responsibilities, and procedures to follow. You will learn how to plan events, work with people, and build relationships. Sisters are encouraged to speak up, hold positions, and attend professional events to enhance communication skills and self-confidence. While in the sorority, sisters will always have support from older members for advice, tutoring, and mentoring in their academic courses and in other aspects of their personal life. Our members also develop relationships with alumnae that can assist with resumes, job placement, and settling in a new location after graduation.
Get Involved on Campus and Have Fun
Alpha Omega Epsilon holds in high regard their responsibility to give back to the community. Whether it is donating their time, working with others, or raising money for a worthy cause, our sisters are dedicated to helping others in the community. Our sorority is affiliated with FIRST Robotics and will help mentor students in the organization. We have other philanthropy events as way to bond and have fun while simultaneously helping the community. Many chapters also participate in campus events, sporting events, movie nights, as well as organizing study breaks so they can spend time with each other.
